Cowes Week 2018

COWES WEEK SAILING REGATTA SAT 4th to 11th August 2018
Firmly in our diaries as one of the biggest and best regattas in the world. Offering 8 days of great racing with up to 1,000 boats competing. It’s complemented by a fantastic shore programme of entertainment culminating in amazing aerial displays and spectacular fireworks. This is one of life’s all time great experiences not to be missed!

We are able to offer corporates and private groups the unique opportunity to get involved in the excitement of Cowes Week with a charter aboard our luxury Swan 55 foot yacht Galiana. You will be able to experience the thrill of racing a big boat hands on, under the guidance of our expert crew. Following some coaching we quickly escalate you to race crew as we cross the start line. You will experience the thrill of racing in close quarters with the rest of the fleet; the tension at the mark roundings is sure to get your pulse racing! There are plenty of jobs to go round as we race with a full suite of sails including spinnakers so you’ll be able to make a big contribution to the race result.
This is an amazing opportunity to race on a beautiful classic yacht and enjoy an exclusive day at the worlds finest Regatta.

If you’d rather watch the action we can still offer you a great day out, with one of our spectating charters. You can enjoy the exhilaration of the wind as our skipper guides us to some of the great vantage points to spectate the very best of Cowes Racing. We will find a great spot for lunch and spoil you with an excellent 4 course buffet with wines. The afternoon is very much up to you, we can go for a nice sail, watch the boats cross the finish line, or drop you ashore so you can soak up the carnival atmosphere. We’re sure you’ll enjoy our infamous afternoon tea as we wind our way back home along the picturesque Hamble River.

Whether you choose to race or spectate, Friday 10th August also includes the evening at Cowes for the amazing aerial displays and spectacular fireworks. A champagne canape reception and hot supper will be served on board the yacht which will have a prime viewing position in Cowes Roads.
